  We're proud to offer all of our amazing guests free yoga classes every Thursday. Classes are from 9am-10am and can be booked at reception. Talk about a great way to start the day!

OPERA RESTAURANT

Our mouth watering "all you can eat" buffet breakfast is available from 7am to 11am Monday to Friday and until 12pm on weekends and is only €6 per person. In the evening choose from the best of both German and Italian food as our restuarant cooks up a storm. Dinner is served from 6pm to 11pm with the bar open throughout the evening.

If you want funky-our lounge bar serves up tasty and adventurous cocktails to get you in the mood before you hit some of the best clubs Europe has to offer.

HOFFMAN SAAL CONFERENCE FACILITIES

PLUS berlin proudly offers onsite conference facilities in our "Hoffman Saal" to cater for any occasion. The beautiful 3rd floor room is 242 square metres overlooking the central courtyard and is ideal for business or educational conferences, meetings, events, lunches and dinners, parties and private functions. The room can be set up according to your needs and we are able to offer various add-ons including full or part catering, audio visual equipment, stationary, furniture, internet and tea and coffee. COMMON AREA

The Hoffman Saal is also used as common area with a table tennis table, foosball table, big sreen TV, Nintendo Wii, bean bags and cool music. It's the perfect place to come and relax if you need a break or hang out in with new friends.

PARKING

We do offer secure off street parking for €7 per day. Although there is plenty of free and safe parking in front of the hostel.

SWIMMING POOL AND SAUNA

The swimming pool and sauna are free for all guests to enjoy. So take a dip and cool off in the middle of Summer and get steamy in the middle of Winter. The perfect combo.

STAY CONNECTED

We have free wifi throughout the hostel on all floors to make sure your loved ones can stay connected and share in your amazing experiences. We also have 4 computers that are free to use.

OUTDOOR COURTYARD

Situated in the middle of the hostel is a beautiful outdoor courtyard that's perfect in the middle of the Summer just to sit outside and read a book or have a couple of drinks and pull out the guitar (if you've managed to lug one accross Europe).

LINEN AND TOWELS

Linen and towels are included in all hotel room bookings. Hostel bed bookings are inclusive of linen though towels are not. Towel hire is €3 for the duration of your stay.

THE "EN-SWEET" LIFE

All of our rooms are ensuite, so there are no shared bathrooms between rooms.

CHECK IN AND LEFT LUGGAGE

Check in tiime is after 15:00. You are more than welcome to check in earlier and leave your bags in our free left luggage room. Check out is by 11:00.

RECEPTION

Our reception is open 24 hours, so there is no problem with stumbling back in the early hours of the morning after sampling the Berlin nightlife.

AIRPORT SHUTTLE SERVICE

An airport shuttle is now available upon request. The shuttle will travel to and from both Tegel and Schoenefeld airports. For booking enquiries please use the "contact us" drop down form.

Please note that the S-Bahn (local train) line between Ostbahnhof and Friedrichstraße will be closed until the 25th August. At the bottom of the page in bold you will find an alternative route from Hauptbahnhof (central station) and Tegel Airport. The connections from the main bus station and from Schönefeld Airport are not affected.

Arriving by train

From Berlin Hauptbahnhof (Central Station)

Head to the dedicated S-Bahn (fast suburban train) platforms, and buy an Einzelfahrausweis (single ticket) for €2.60 or a Tageskarte (day pass) for €6.70 from the ticket machines on the platform. Don’t forget to validate your ticket!

There are only two S-Bahn platforms (one in each direction), so you can take any of the following trains:

·       S5 - Direction: Strausberg Nord

·       S7 - Direction: Ahrensfelde

·       S75 - Direction: Wartenberg

Pass through five stations - Friedrichstrasse, Hackescher Markt, Alexanderplatz, Jannowitzbruecke and Ostbahnhof - and then get off the train at Warschauer Strasse. The train journey will take about 20 minutes.

And now you have a short walk of maximum five minutes…

Exit the station (there is only one exit!), and turn left onto the bridge over the railway tracks.

Walk past the entrance to Warschauer Strasse U-Bahn (underground) station, and turn left into the short pedestrian tunnel.

On exiting the tunnel, PLUS Berlin is directly in front of you on the opposite side of the road!

 

From Berlin Ostbahnhof (East Station)

Head to the dedicated S-Bahn (fast suburban train) platforms, and buy an Einzelfahrausweis (single ticket) for €2.60 or a Tageskarte (day pass) for €6.70 from the ticket machines on the platform. Don’t forget to validate your ticket!

There are only two s-Bahn platforms (one in each direction), so you can take any of the following trains:

·       S5 - Direction: Strausberg Nord

·       S7 - Direction: Ahrensfelde

·       S75 - Direction: Wartenberg

Get off at the next stop, Warschauer Strasse (the train journey will take about three minutes!), and follow the walking instructions above.

ARRIVING BY AIR

An airport shuttle is now available upon request. The shuttle will travel to and from both Tegel and Schoenefeld airports. For booking enquiries please use the "contact us" drop down form.

From Schönefeld and Berlin

Walk from the airport terminal to the S-Bahn station (fast suburban trains)

Buy an Einzelfahrausweis (single ticket) for €3.20 or a Tageskarte (day pass) for €7.20 (not forgetting to validate your ticket), and take the S-Bahn train S9 (Direction: Pankow).

Pass through eight stations – Gruenbergallee, Altglienicke, Adlershof, Betriebsbahnhof Schoeneweide, Schoeneweide, Baumschulenweg, Plaenterwald and Treptower Park – and then change trains at Ostkreuz. This part of the train journey will take about 25 minutes

From Ostkreuz, take any of the following trains:

·       S5 - Direction: Spandau

·       S7 - Direction: Potsdam / Wannsee

·       S75 - Direction: Westkreuz

Get off at the next stop, Warschauer Strasse. This part of the train journey will take about two minutes!

You now have a short walk of about five minutes…

Exit the station (there is only one exit!), and turn left onto the bridge over the railway tracks.

Walk past the entrance to Warschauer Strasse U-Bahn (underground) station, and turn left into the short pedestrian tunnel.

On exiting the tunnel, Plus Berlin is directly in front of you on the opposite side of the square!

From Tegel Airport

Buy an Einzelfahrausweis (single ticket) for €2,10 or a Tageskarte (day pass) for €6,10 (not forgetting to validate your ticket), and take the Express Bus TXL to Berlin Hauptbahnhof. The bus journey will take about 20 minutes.

Head to the dedicated S-Bahn (fast suburban train) platforms, and take any of the following trains:

  • S3 - Direction: Erkner
  • S5 - Direction: Strausberg Nord
  • S7 - Direction: Ahrensfelde
  • S75 - Direction: Wartenberg

Pass through five stations - Friedrichstrasse, Hackescher Markt, Alexanderplatz, Jannowitzbruecke and Ostbahnhof - and then get off the train at Warschauer Strasse. The train journey will take about 20 minutes.

ARRIVING BY BUS

From ZOB (Central Bus Station)

Walk from the bus terminal to Kaiserdamm U-Bahn (underground) station.

Buy an Einzelfahrausweis (single ticket) for €2,60 or a Tageskarte (day pass) for €6,70 (not forgetting to validate your ticket), and take the U2 line in the direction of Pankow.

Pass through eight stations – Sophie-Charlotte-Platz, Bismarckstrasse, Deustche Oper, Ernst-Reuter-Platz, Zoologischer Garten, Wittenbergplatz, Nollendorfplatz and Buelowstrasse,  – and then change trains at Gleisdreieck. This part of the train journey will take about 15 minutes.

Transfer to the U1 line, and take the train in the direction of Warschauer Strasse. You will pass through Moeckernbruecke, Hallesches Tor, Prinzenstrasse, Kottbusser Tor, Goerlitzer Bahnhof, and Schlesiches Tor. Warschauer Strasse in the end station, so you have to get off here anyway!  This part of the train journey will take about 13 minutes.

Exit the U-Bahn Station down the stairs to the right of the entrance hall, and turn right onto Warschauerplatz. PLUS Berlin is less than two minutes away on the left side of the square!

UNTIL AUGUST 25th, 2014


From Berlin Hauptbahnhof (Central Station)

Buy an Einzelfahrausweis (single ticket) for €2.60 or a Tageskarte (day pass) for €6.70 from the ticket machines in the station. Don’t forget to validate your ticket!
You can take any of the following trains from platform 12 (please pay attention at the station in case of any platform changes):
·  RE1 - Direction: Cottbus
·  RE2 - Direction: Cottbus
·  RE7 - Direction: Wünsdorf-Waldstadt
·   RB14 - Direction: Flughafen Schönefeld (Schönefeld Airport)
 
You will pass through the stations Friedrichstraße and Alexanderplatz, and then get off the train at Ostbahnhof. This part of the journey should take around 9 minutes.
From there, head to the dedicated S-Bahn (fast suburban train) platforms and take any of the following trains:
·  S5 - Direction: Strausberg Nord
 
·  S7 - Direction: Ahrensfelde
·  S75 - Direction: Wartenberg
 
You will need to get off the train at Warschauer Straße, which is the next stop on the line.
And now you have a short walk of maximum five minutes…

From Tegel Airport

Buy an Einzelfahrausweis (single ticket) for €2.60 or a Tageskarte (day pass) for €6.70 (not forgetting to validate your ticket).
Take the bus number 109 (direction Zoologischer Garten) to Uhlandstraße. The bus journey will take about 25 minutes.
From here, take the underground line U1 to Warschauer Straße – this part of the journey should take 20 minutes and it’s the last stop on the line.
Exit the station by going down the long staircase on the right hand side, and at the bottom of the steps turn right walking under the bridge, passing the Matrix club on the right hand side.
Keep walking and you will find PLUS Berlin, a large red-brick building, on your left hand side just before a car dealership.
PLUS Berlin is approximately 200 metres from the station’s exit.
