Venice has a limited choice of cheap accommodation. PLUS Camping Jolly offers you a great budget alternative to a hostel in Venice with clean comfortable bungalows, dorms, mobile homes and house tents that can accommodate from 2 to 5 people with linen included. The bungalows, dorms and mobile homes all come with their own private bathroom and shower.
You won't find many places where you can sunbathe, go swimming, have a free use of a fitness center, play table tennis and more. And that's not all. You will find a supermarket, internet café, international phone, laundry machines and dryer, luggage room, and lots of fun, music, and drinks at the 'Jolly House Pub' with happy hour!
You can either catch a local bus from the nearby public bus stop for the connection into town or take advantage of our regular shuttle bus.
Great value meals and drinks are available from our restaurant and bar. Italian style breakfasts pizzas, salads and other snacks are also offered.
Check-in is from 2pm, check-out is until 12.00am. You can cancel up to 24hrs in advance to avoid being charged for the first night’s accommodation.
Please note that as of the 24/08/11 a new tourist tax has been enforced to be paid in addition to the normal room rates. Please see below for more more information. €0.18 per night is to be paid during the following periods: 01/01 - 8/01 04/02 - 22/02 01/04 - 31/10 03/09 - 9/12 23/12 - 31/12 For all other periods the tax will be €0.09 per night. Children under the age of 10 are excluded where as those aged between 10 and 16 will only have to pay 50% .

These are modern, comfortable sized rooms that sleep up to 5 people (bunk bed, 3 singles) and come with their own shower and toilet, fan, heater, storage space, bedding and electrical outlets.
PRIVATE BUNGALOWS
(triples) with an ensuite.
These are modern, comfortable sized rooms that sleep up to 3 people and come with their own shower and toilet, heater, fridge, storage space, air conditioner, bedding and electrical outlets.
PRIVATE/SHARED HOUSE TENTS
If you book non ensuite accommodation, you are booking a bed in a pretty three person house tent which is equipped with very comfortable beds, electrical outlet, lights and is lockable. (available Summer months only)
RECEPTION
Reception Check-in is from 2pm, check-out is until 12.00pm. You can cancel up to 24hrs in advance to avoid being charged for the first night’s accommodation. Our super friendly staff are always on hand to give advice and service. We run a regular shuttle bus into the city centre from our campsite. If the hours of the shuttle bus don't quite suit your busy schedule you can book our private shuttle bus at reception for just €2 per person (minimum of 2 persons).
LAUNDRY FACILIITIES
You can buy your machine tokens at reception. Large 8kg washing and drying machines.
MONEY MATTERS
We accept all major credit cards and travellers cheques.
All guests are required to use a chipcard for payment during their stay on the campsite. These are rechargeable cards that are to be used wherever payment is necessary, eg. The restaurant, bar, café, supermarket, internet and bazaar. As part of our payment procedures we can only accept travellers cheques, not personal ones. You can withdraw cash from the bancomat ATM onsite and make topups on your chipcard at all cashiers except the takeaway. Any cash left on the cards will be refunded to you when you check out.
SUPERMARKET
You will find all the necessities you need in our onsite supermarket, with fresh fruit, frozen goods, toiletries, film gear and snacks.
CAFE & BAR
Choose from our breakfast menu of traditional Italian style or western style with cereal, toast and toppings. Lunch and dinner is also served with fantastic local recipes. Pizza, pasta, salads and original Italian options to get the tastebuds going.
SWIMMING POOL
Kick off the walking shoes and dive in for a reviving swim after a long day crossing the bridges of Venice. Or just lay back and dream of Venice on one of the sunloungers.
FITNESS AREA
Just because you are on holiday doesn’t mean you need to abandon the fitness program. The gym area has all the right equipment to keep your training going.
In a strategic position, easily accessible from motorway A4 TRIESTE-VENEZIA and VENEZIA-MESTRE railway station, makes it the ideal base from which to explore all the best historical towns and villages of northern Italy.
PRIVATE SHUTTLE
PLEASE NOTE: As of 01/06/11 until 30/09/11 our private shuttle will now leave from the main bus stop at Tronchetto. You can arrive there via the "Trenino Tronchetto" from Piazzale Roma. When arriving at Tronchetto our shuttle will have a big "PLUS Camping Jolly" sign on it.
The shuttle costs the princley sum of €2 each way.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT
From Piazzale Roma:
From bus stand A3 take bus number 6 in the direction of Spinea and get off after 15 minutes in Via Paleocapa.
Walk on your left until Via Beccaria, cross over and continue for 5 mins until you reach Via Della Fonte (on your right).
Walk along the street and near the sports centre take the pedestrian passage (on your left), then the subway and about 5mins you will reach the campsite.
From Mestre train station:
Take bus #15 direction Panorama. Stay on the bus for approx. 15 minutes and when you are in via Beccaria get off at the second stop of Via Beccaria. Walk for about 200 meters until you see a Pizzeria on your right hand side and there turn right into via della Fonte. Walk until the end of the street and follow just past the sport centre on the left hand side the walk way. Continue down the bike path as it bends to the right under an underpass. 50 seconds later you will arrive at PLUS Camping Jolly! Bus #15 leaves the train station every 30 minutes every 13 – 43 minutes past the hour. The last bus leaving from the train station departs at 20.37. Please note that on Sundays the bus only runs at 34 minutes past the hour and the last bus is at 20:32.
