PLUS is proud to welcome you to our very own hostel in Prague. PLUS Prague offers the ultimate backpacker experience with latenight bar and restaurant, swimming pool, mini-market, PLUS Girls space for girls only, Chillout zone and the latest in comfort, security and fun.

We haven’t forgotten the nuts and bolts such as laundry, luggage storage, awesome friendly and helpful staff, internet and 24 hour security- all the things you would expect from a PLUS hostel. You will also find some extra bonuses. Each floor has its own guest kitchen and each room comes with an ensuite bathroom as standard so no queuing for hours outside the door.

Our PLUS Girls space has been purposely designed to meet the needs of the independent girl traveller, complete with complimentary cosmetic pack on arrival and big fluffy bathowel for use during your stay.

The Chillout zone has been created with the backpacker in mind with big comfy sofas, big screen satellite T.V and pool table to challenge some new found friends.

The bar will keep you on your toes with the DJ and drink specials, while there is always a great value meal being served up in the restaurant – keep an eye out for the Plus Parties every Thursday night over the summer months.

After a long day spoil yourself with our sauna and swimming pool. With the tram stop right at the front door you are only minutes away from all the important sites of interest. Just ask at the PLUS Port travel desk for further information on where to go and what to see.

MONEY MATTERS

For your added security we use a chipcard payment system in the hostel. On arrival you are issued with an electronic chipcard that you use to enter your room as well as for payment inside the hostel. You will need the card to pay for food and drinks from the bars and restaurant. The card is rechargeable at reception only by cash. Any value left on the card is refunded back to you on departure.
Please check which currency you are making your booking in online.

Currency Rates & Payment:

Please note we can only accept Czech Koruny for final payments for your bed at the hostel. All beds sold are priced in Czech Koruny. By all means you may pay your initial deposit in the currency of your choice i.e Euros or US Dollars online, but final payment must be made in Czech Koruny as per your booking. While we are only too happy to change currency other than Czech into our local currency, please note that this will be at the market rate that is set by the hostel and will differ from the rate when you paid your deposit online as market rates fluctuate on a daily basis.

Accomodation

Mixed/Shared dorms 4,6,8; Light and open spaced rooms that sleep 4, 6 or 8 people. All beds come with private reading lamp, cosy duvets and pillows. Each bed has its own storage locker that can be locked. All linen is provided.

Private Twins; Stylish and airy rooms that sleep 2 people. Cosy duvets, pillows and all linen is provided.

Plus Girls Only 4,6,8; Light and open spaced rooms that sleep 4, 6 or 8 people. For those little extra home comforts with larger bathrooms, hair-dryers, and complimentary welcome cosmetic pack.

24HR RECEPTION

Friendly helpful staff are on hand 24 hrs a day to answer all your questions. There is no lockout or curfew. Check in is from 3pm and checkout is by 10am.

Settle back on one of the big comfy sofas or stage your own pool tournament. Catch the latest news and sports on the big screen satellite TV.

Take the plunge-Cool off in the summer, or relax after a long day walking around town. Our indoor pool is open all year round. Soak your feet in the jacuzzi with a few new friends.

Directions to hostel in 2 easy steps!

Step 1: Get to Holesovice metro station  

From  Hlavní Nádraží (central railway station) or Florenc bus station:

Buy a 26czk travel ticket (this will be good for both the metro and tram journey). Validate your ticket in the yellow boxes before going down to the metro platform.

Take Metro line C (red line) direction Letňany, and get off at Nádraží Holešovice. Turn left when you step off the train carriage and go up the escalator. Go to step 2.

From Holesovice rail station (Nádraží Holesovice).  Buy a 18czk travel ticket, walk through the pedestrian tunnel (follow the Mc Donald’s sign) to the other side of the metro station.  Go to step 2.

From the Airport take the Airport Express bus (50czk runs every 30 minutes) to  Hlavní Nádraží (central railway station). Walk into the station concourse.  Buy a 18czk travel ticket; walk through the pedestrian tunnel (follow the Mc Donald’s sign) to the metro station. Go to Nádraží Holešovice (Metro Line C, 3 stations in direction Letňany). Go to step 2.

Step 2: Get to the hostel

From Holešovice metro station  exit from the front, cross the tram rails to the other side of the road and from there take any tram.

Validate your tram ticket in the yellow box on the tram (if you have just come off the metro, you don’t need to validate it again) and go one stop to Ortenovo Námestí.
On the corner you will see the Hotel Plaza Alta, walk in this direction. You can see the hostel from here on your left side; just a 2 minute walk from tram stop to hostel.
